Well, I finally moved into my dream home, but for awhile that dream seemed out of reach. The master bedroom was upstairs, and in this disabled persons words...stairs suck! I can still go up and down stairs if I have some help, however; it is unbelievably slow, and the sore and tired muscles make it seem not exactly worth it, I was so disappointed, but then someone mentioned that I should check into the possibility of a stair lift.
101 Mobility, in Dallas, helped make my dreams come true! They were completely informative and helpful, from the beginning of the process until completion. First, a technician came to our home to examine the staircase and to answer any questions we might have. Once we had the green light for installation it was then time to choose the style of lift. We then went to Mobility 101’s offices to take a spin on the sample stair lifts. There are different styles based on individual needs, so it is important to check them out. Once we decided on the lift, then it was time to add the extras. You know what I'm talking about; fine Corinthian Leather Upholstery , an awesome stereo system with Sirius radio, heated seats……….just kidding, but I did order a swivel seat. When installation day came it was installed in just a few hours. Here are a few pictures of the installation:
