Oh, the joys of spring! The Vernal Equinox, a.k.a Spring, is a much needed respite after the cold and dreary days of winter. So this blog is an ode to wonderful spring and all of its possibilities. Spring brings a feeling of rebirth, a time to begin again.!
Spring is when life's alive in everything.-Christina Rossetti
On beautiful spring days it's sometimes hard for us disabled to go outside and enjoy. Many times the body just doesn't want to cooperate. Whenever possible we need to seize an opportunity to go outside and soak up spring's awesomeness, but always be safe! Whether you use a cane, a wheelchair, a walker, or other adaptive equipment, going outside is therapeutic for our souls.
When you're outside, let the warm sunshine rest on your face. Smell the air as the breeze flows gently over your skin. Listen to the birds as they sing their yearly serenade, announcing the end of winter. Bask in the moment and savor all of nature's beauty.
