Walking is an action that the majority of people complete with nary a thought. For those of us with mobility disorders we have to put a little more thought into it. We have to think about the surfaces we walk on and how it will affect our gait.
As I plan my daily excursions I always think about the surface that I'm going to be walking on. The perfect surface of course is flat, smooth and dry. I'd have it made if every surface was that way! But alas there is always going to be the proverbial bump in the road.
As you can see, any surface can be treacherous if you have a movement disorder, but it won't stop me from navigating my world. I just keep on movin and a groovin!
What surfaces provide you challenges?
